Vik joined Fox Mowing & Gardening in October of 2023 after thorough research into the various lawnmowing franchise brands on the market. The Fox principles appealed to him – a fairer model, market leading fees, and the huge opportunity that a larger territory offered. After a day out on the road with one of our original Fox Franchisees, Vik was sold. Since then, Vik’s business has gone from strength to strength, and he is over the moon with the support from Marcus and Phil (Fox Founder). He is loving spending his days outside, seeing his fitness improve (and has dropped a few belt sizes too!)
After leaving university and spending years in physically demanding roles, I was looking to take my career into my own hands. I wanted something that offered independence and the potential for success. That's when I stumbled upon the mowing, gardening and landscaping industry—a field where my work ethic could directly translate into tangible results. After careful consideration choosing Fox emerged as the clear choice. Not only did they have a commitment to treating franchisees as more than just a number, but they also could best provide the tools and support necessary to establish a thriving business. With Fox, so far, I've been able to forge my own path, design my schedule, and build a prosperous business that mirrors my commitment and enthusiasm. For me joining the Fox family isn't just about owning a franchise; it's about taking charge of my future and crafting a lifestyle and business that truly suits me.

You set the prices, manage your clients, and grow your business with our support. So really, the sky’s the limit.

Just like anything, previous experience in a similar industry or experience running your own business can absolutely help – but we’ve got your back with all the training you need.
Just like your day now, you will kick off with coffee (or your bevvy of choice). You are likely to already have your day scheduled, so you will load up your vehicle with your water bottle and lunch bag and head off to your first job.
It’s likely that this is a property you know, so you are straight into your usual routine and keeping an eye out for any recommendations you can make to the property owner (think weed spraying, soft landscaping, or maybe a water blast.) As you work through your schedule, you will receive leads from our epic call centre team – you reach out to these leads ASAP, and you might even stop by one or two so that you can provide a super-speedy quote.
At the end of your day, you will head home to do some gear maintenance to keep your gear ship shape, and you will complete your invoicing and send out some quotes. You might even choose to finish up early to head out to the golf course or coach the kids sports team. Or just kick back at home with a crisp beer to finish off your day! It’s up to you.
